SilentAgreement:
Very Dis-Satisfied This is a very troubling company. I moved into a house that has a Bryan gas tank. My tank is down to 5% so I called Bryan to have some gas delivered. They said the "minimum" they will deliver is 125 gallons at over $350. I can't afford that. My neighbor has a 100 Gallon Bryan tank that they just days ago delivered less than 50 gallons of gas to - so it really does not make any sense that he would tell me the minimum of 125 Gallons was their policy. Right now I can't afford that much money. I have 5 kids and and the economy / work is getting worse and worse, I have been waiting for two contractors to pay me what they owe and money is getting really tight. Now keep in mind that Bryan Gas company is located LESS than 2 miles from my house. So I called TR Lee Gas company in Clayton (almost 20 miles away) and they said they would "be more than happy" to deliver 50 gallons (their minimum) but when they showed up, the driver said he was sorry the he could not pump any gas in my tank because it was a Bryan tank and that the 2 companies had a silent agreement that they would not put gas in each others tanks. "Silent Agreement" is a direct quote. You are aware of why this type of agreement is kept "silent"... because it either borders on illegal or is illegal. The Bryan Gas guy was also quite amused at my predicament as he seemed to be chuckling at my pleads - that "GAS" is the only way I can heat my house and keep my kids warm! Was that funny to you? He also advised me that I should go down to social services and get some help or go to some Ministry somewhere... Thanks for the advice! What an honorable person you are with your silent agreements and ridiculous bank busting policies... If you are in the process of having a gas tank placed at your location - Use TR Lee Gas Tanks as they seemed a little more reasonable and will deliver the amount of gas that you can afford "especially" if you are on a fixed income. All this makes me real happy that most cars run on gasoline and NOT propane. Can you imagine? Pulling up to a gas station on empty and the smartypants attendant saying.. "Sorry, that's a Texaco gas tank on your Chevy, you can't buy gas here at BP (cough cough, silent agreement) but you CAN catch that bus there if you run fast enough or you can start hitch hiking..."
