My spouse and I visited Buckstove last week while looking for a new fireplace to replace our older wood fireplace. We were pleasantly surprised by the large selection of fireplaces on display on the sales floor. We had been to other stores but none offered the amount of choices that Buckstove does. I should mention that the our salesperson (Clint) was extremely knowledgeable and made some key suggestions that we had not thought of. Overall this was a very good experience and I would recommend this business to anyone looking for fireplaces or unique accessories

When I tried to get my money back on a fireplace insert, because I found something I liked better the owner started yelling at me telling me I couldn't possibly have seen everything they had to offer at Buck Stoves because it wasn't on display. I told him I had indeed seen everything EVERYONE had to offer because I had been online, looked at all the brochures and had been all over the bay area looking at these inserts. He stopped arguing but told me he couldn't reverse the charges on my creditcard, because he wasn't the sales person who sold it to me. So i came back the next day and spoke with the guy who sold it to me who also told me he couldn't reverse the charges on my credit card, because it was too much money- the bookeeper would have to approve it and the bookeeper wouldn't be in until the following week. I am certain the bookeeper hadn't even seen my sale to begin with since I bought the insert at closing on Dec 30th and was in there on the 2nd of Jan trying to get them to credit my card. It all sounded like a big song and dance to me and very unprofessional.
