C & D Hughes, Inc. is located at 3097 Lansing Rd in Charlotte and has been in the business of Highway And Street Paving Contractor since 1980.

I was involved in a pretty serious accident with one of C&D Hughe's drivers where I was driving home from dropping my daughter off at school my car was totalled. Luckily no one was injured; and the truck for this company sustained next to no damage; the driver for C&D Hughe's was found at fault for the accident. He was issued a ticket for failing to yield. Thanks to no fault MI laws the max we will be issued by their company is $1000 by their insurance company but were quoted at around $7000 for repair (value of the vehicle) not to mention almost $300 to get the car out of the tow yard to be inspected by a shop, and the money I am going to need to waste on a rental car for emergencies. Morally I do feel they are responsible for the loss and recovery of our family's vehicle. Me and my husband are both employed and relied on this vehicle to support our household and take our daughter to school, doctor's appointments, outings, etc. Now we are out of a car and could be out of jobs soon as we don't have reliable rides to our work. I'm very dissappointed in the way this company is handling this. I feel it is a moral obligation for the people to right your wrongs especially as a business and this company has offered to do no such thing and riding on our defective system instead. Since the other driver was at fault and my car was totalled as a result and a family is out of our family vehicle; the least they can do as a presumably solid business is help us to get our car back.
