Founded in 1985 by master illustrator, Fred Fixler, CAI is on of the oldest atelier schools in Southern California. Successful alumni in both commercial illustration and fine art include Glen Orbik and Laurel Blechman, Greg Pro, Morgan Weistling, Jeff Watts, Ryan Wurmser, Aaron Westerberg, and Jeremy Lipking among others.
