Canoga Sheet Metal was built on integrity, creativity, and dedication to quality craftsmanship. Canoga Sheet Metal has continued to provide excellent quality products and service throughout Southern California for 5 generations.The company was founded in 1956 by Donald G. Metzgus Jr. with the assistance of his father Donald G. Metzgus Sr., who came out of retirement to work as an estimator and consultant. Donald Sr. brought with him many years of sheet metal contracting experience after working with Harold E Peterson Company and Emil Brown Company, both large Sheet Metal Contractors in the Los Angeles area in the 1940s and 50s.The family tradition has continued since being incorporated in 1981 and bought by the present owner, Greg H. Metzgus. Greg was joined in business by his oldest son, Christopher A. Metzgus in 1986 and by his youngest son Kevin W. Metzgus in 1995. Both Christopher and Kevin serve as Vice Presidents for the corporation. Two granddaughters have worked part time for Canoga Sheet Metal and in 2006 Eddie Babcock, Christophers son-in-law joined the business as a field foreman making the 5th generation of family involvement at Canoga Sheet Metal.
