Downtown in the Captain Elias Davis 1804 house, this is Gloucester's surprising museum and gallery. It reflects the town's commitment to artists, and has the world's largest collection by maritime luminist Fitz Henry (Hugh) Lane. There's also an excellent exhibit on Gloucester's maritime history.
