nice museum in east providence:
very recommended, this museum is one of the few around focusing on african culture- but that's not entirely correct. cape verde is african, but also portuguese and the people have been in new england for hundreds of years so the museum covers immigrant life in the united states, too. anyway, it's a lot of explain- go to the museum itself, you'll learn more than i can explain here!
