Terrible customer service. No-show for appointment:
Part was ordered after first appointment. Had appointment scheduled to install part between 1 and 4 PM. Took time off of work and tech never showed or called. Next day Capital City Appliance office called and stated that tech tried to call me twice at 5:30. I was home and never recieved a call. I stated that if this was true, my number would show on the techs company cell phoneas being dialed. She didnt accept that and said we could reschedule for end of week. I explained that this is unacceptable due to my schedule and expect Capital City to make this right by repair my washer sooner. She put me on hold to speak to the "Office Manager". She stated that tech was at my house and called twice. More lies. Then she said "We can either reschedule you or we will send your parts back, we dont care" Nice customer service. She never appoligized for wasting my day. She stated "We serve 150 people a day". Basically, "We could care less about you or your time" Well, this is the last time you get a chance to service my appliances. Being that this was a warranty issue, I called the warranty admin and had them reassign the repair to a different appliance repair company. Hopefully they will lose the warranty account so more people dont have to experience my frustration. Steer clear of Capital City Appliance. Read the Better Business Bureau reports.
