Liars:
I had service done to my transmission, filter & fluid. I have a 2003 Dodge truck and the transmission fluid must only be ATF Plus4. When I confronted (Rudy) the owner/mgr. with my reciept showing they used something else, he said it was a type-o and when I kept pushing for the right fluid he asked me if I was calling him a liar. Later I had an opportunity to talk to one of Rudy's mechanics (in Rudy's absence) and I found out the truth, Rudy was a liar! Later they replaced my tran's fluid with the right stuff, as I watched. Also, (at the beginning of the service) they tried to tell me they found a piece of a snap ring in the transmission pan and my truck would last no time before the transmission would fail. I was told that this is a common problem with the Dodge transmissions and that Dodge has replaced that snap ring with a specially designed one. I called my local Dodge dealer service department and told him the story. The service tech. said he'd never heard of anything like that and if that was the case he'd have people lining up out the door with transmission problems. I felt like Capitol Transmission was setting me up because they needed work in their shop. That was 3,000 miles ago and my transmission is still running like a swiss watch, go figure!!
