Dr. Shirley Gonzalez was our pediatrician since the birth of my son 3.5 years ago, and also for my 18 month old daughter. She really is a wonderful physician but unfortunately we could no longer stand dealing with the staff in this office. These are some of the most callous, unprofessional people I have ever encountered. From repeated billing errors to down-right nasty behavior. We have been asking them to provide my children's medical records to their new physicians for a month and a half..Today I followed up and was told that they "have been trying since last week but their copy machine is broken". You can't get through a sentence without being interrupted by the woman who answers the phone. Unacceptable.

After one too many incidents with rude secretaries and condescending physician's assistants, we made the switch to Newton-Wellesley Pediatrics. From our very first visit, the atmosphere was 100% more welcoming. I kick myself for not making the change sooner!
