Roberto and Isabel Sanchez came to San Francisco in the early 1900's from Mexico and opened the first mechanized tortilla factory in Northern California. They sold tortillas by the pound, wrapped in paper and string and delivered them by the hundreds in International diesel trucks. Through hard work and the help of their 3 kids, the business grew to a San Francisco Legend.
