Great Doctor - Terrible Staff:
Worst doctor's office in Portland. That said, Dr. Steven Seres was/is awesome. If you are considering seeing Dr. Seres at his new office, I highly recommend him. He obviously had to get out of the toxic environment that is Cascade Physicians.

This review is in regards to the rest of the office/staff.

In mid October I was diagnosed with a condition requiring surgery and referred to the specialist in question. My workman's compensation was to cover the expenses, so no worries on my end.

After meeting with the specialist, Workman's comp began requisitioning the relevant medical records from my physicians. Those being Cascade Physicians and the specialist I had been referred to.

Worker's comp received the medical records from the surgery specialist within 1 week. It's now mid December, and Cascade physicians STILL HAVE NOT released my medical records to Worker's comp. What this tells me is that they are TOO LAZY to do their job. They could have even called me to come in and pick them up in person, but no they couldn't even do that.

My worker's comp handler made 8+ ATTEMPTS OVER 2 MONTHS to receive my medical records from Cascade, all to no avail. You tell me. Is 8 requests for medical records enough to get somewhere? Apparently not when you're dealing with anyone at Cascade - especially Evelyn who just loves to give you attitude, treat you with a rude tone, and just all around unpleasantness.

After all of that I called Cascade Physicians to see if I could pick up the relevant medical records myself. I was told that I could and that they were FREE. Upon arriving I was conversing with the receptionist when the "ever so pleasant" Evelyn rudely interrupted our conversation to tell me that 'she never said I didn't have to pay for my own medical records'. Keep in mind, the tone in her voice was not at all amicable.

So, if you are a patient at Cascade physicians, I would highly urge you to seek primary care elsewhere. It takes them 2+ months to release medical records even when they've been contacted regarding the records 8+ times by my worker's compensation handler. Is that good service? 4 emails and 4 phone calls, and not a single response from Cascade. It took me walking into their office, paying $30, and dealing with the rudest woman on Earth to get my medical records.

Overall, I'd avoid this place like the plague. If they actually cared about their patients, they might try to help them out instead of putting their surgery on hold for 2 months over pure LAZINESS.

I will make sure that everyone knows about my experience here. Thank god for services like Yelp and other review aggregators. Good luck keeping patients if you're going to let Evelyn run all over them and treat them like dirt.

You lost a few patients today Cascade and it's now my goal to make sure you lose many more.
