In the 19th-century Mouton Plantation, in a quiet residential area of Lafayette, an upstairs suite has early Acadian antiques, while downstairs the Louisiana Empire and the Victorian suites both have queen-size beds. Breakfast is prepared by owner Marjorie Voorhies, and her husband, Coerte, conducts unusually informative nature excursions through the surrounding swamps.
