After being diagnosed with HPV and cancerous cells on my cervix, Dr. Caverly thought it would be appropriate to tell me that HPV was for "loose girls" who don't know how to close their legs and "sleep around" without even knowing me or my boyfriend of 3 years. I was in a committed relationship, and she just generalized to make me feel like a whore.

Then, as I was getting a cone biopsy - without anesthesia - I was struggling to get off the table because I was in so much pain. I was screaming at her to stop (which my bf heard from the waiting area) but she did not. Later she said it was better that way because my insurance didn't cover anesthesia on the procedure. It should have been my decision...I had the money to pay for it and she had no right to continue hurting me as I pleaded her to stop. She was nice enough (sarcasam) to give me an asprin after.

I had enough. I found a new OBGYN and asked her to fax my medical records. She charged me $180 to fax my records, and gave me no other options but to pay the ridiculous amount. It also seemed like she was immature in handling the situation because she sent me TWO (not one) letters saying that she was "dropping ME from HER practice"...even though I told her I was never coming back.
