Cayuga Museum Of History & Art is located at 203 Genesee St in Auburn and has been in the business of Museum since 1936.

The history and culture of Cayuga County, which stretches from Lake Ontario to outside Ithaca, is carefully curated in exhibits here. Some of the focus is on the Auburn Correctional Facility, which has shaped the area for three centuries and is the oldest continually operating prison in the nation.
