In response to the negative review:
When Terrilyn came in to our facility, she was very sweet, so to receive this kind of review was a shock to say the least.
When we finished installing her satelite radio system,she paid her bill and left.She immediately called from her cell phone complaining of all the scratches, so I told her to come back so I could inspect her car.
There is a "push to open" ashtray right above the shifter. There were some minor scratches from normal wear & tear on top of the ashtray from her laying down her cell phone or whatever on a daily basis.
They are not very noticeable because these are very gradule "wear & tear"scratches.
There was no way or reason for us to scratch the top of the ashtray because we just had to "push" to open for access to unsnap the shift bezel.
She went on to say we scratched everything and wanted it all replaced. To me, it was so frivilous, I just had to walk away to gather my thoughts.
I have been in business for over 22 years, so I would never argue, much less yell at a customer.
She was determined to get the whole dash console replaced. There was a chip in the corner of the wood grain bezel which we could have done and I did offer to replace.
Yes, she keeps her car in great condition, but she should have considered the norman wear & tear.
I am still open to repairing the minor chip in her dash but she already took her car to New Century BMW to change her dash.
She also wrote & posted a bad review for them as well , so as you can see, there is no pleasing this person, no matter how we or anyone else tries. AQ

I took my car to Central Auto Sound to have them install XM radio. I made a 9AM appointment. They kept my car all day - and when I went to pick it up I noticed that they had scratched my dash up and put deep gouges in it. They also chipped the wood trim around my shifter handle and bent the clips that hold my ceiling light in place (it's hanging down loose), as that's where they were initially going to install the unit. EVERYTHING THEY TOUCHED, THEY RUINED! When I confronted the owner about it he argued with me and then walked away - great way to run a business! I called a week later to give him a chance to fix what they had damaged. He admitted to chipping the wood trim, but would not accept responsibility for the scratches and gouges in the dash. He wanted my VIN number claiming he needed that to order the trim piece, which was all he was going to replace. Again he argued and yelled at me - yelling over me and at me. Up to this point he has not made any attempt to make things right. Shame on him! IF HE ADMITTED TO DOING DAMAGE, HE SHOULD MAKE THINGS RIGHT. Instead he tried to bully me and is now ignoring the problem. He claims that it's normal wear and tear because the car is five years old, but everyone who has seen the damage asks the same question - "Who did this to your car?", including the dealership I took it to for a repair estimate. When I told the owner this, he responded by asking me "You're showing people"? It's pretty obvious to everyone but him what happened. I am a "car" person and I keep my car immaculate. For him to even suggest that my dash was all scratched up and I had "just not noticed it" is ludicrous! His name is Art and the guy who did the work is Admir - I would avoid letting either one of them near your vehicle! BEWARE!
