The southern part of Central Park was conceived as a children's area by the designers. This was a place where the families could find fresh supply of milk after traveling to the park. The Dairy in the park serves the role of giving out general information of the park to the visitors. It also doubles up as a gift store where all kinds of gift items like mugs, t-shirts, caps, and more are sold.
