This company does not take responsibility for their gross negligence:
Prior to Century Carpet installing all of my carpet and vinyl, I never had any squeaks in my sub-floor. After Centery Carpet completed their work for a total of $4200.00, my bathroom floor squeaks horribly and my living room sub-floor squeaks as well.
Further, it appears the their subcontractor left something under my living room carpet, so people walk on an incline when they walk on that carpet.
Century Carpet has taken absolutely no responsibility for their slipshod work.
The bottom line is that when a contractor encounters a problem, they call the owner so it can be fixed. I was never given the opportunity to have my own contractor fix the sub-floor, then have Century Carpet complete the job correctly. This is clearly gross negligence on behalf of Century Carpet.
I highly suggest not doing business with this company.
