When to Go: The Center is home to the Telescope Makers' Workshop, a volunteer group that has helped people make their own telescopes since 1967. The group meets Fridays, 7-10pm; no experience necessary.

Know Before You Go: Telescopes are available for free public viewing Friday and Saturday, 7-10pm, weather permitting.
