Champion Forest A/C makes it clear when you call in the service call is $69.95. They do give written bids for equipment replacement NOT for small jobs as I understand how much time that would take - They always send an invoice, even if it's rental property, explaining recommendations! I found them to be very respectful and helpful. Every service company charges a service call -
