Alright, so let's look at how this house cleaning could have gone.
I, like many people, got a Groupon/LS/Google whatever for house cleaning. $65!! So cheap and awesome. Lemme just call the service and ... hmmm...that's odd. It's a personal cell voicemail. And the mailbox is full. This doesn't bode well.
Booked CheckMaid with a 10% discount for tweeting, so it came to $108 or something for the next day at 10. Two women came at that time and woke me up, as it was 10:15AM. I'm sure they thought I was pathetic. Midway through their cleaning, I found out that the water was shut off in my building for emergency repairs. But I called CM and the manager said that someone could come back later or tomorrow when the water came back on. Thankfully, the water came back and all was right with the world.
Yup, these guys are more expensive than the deal you might get on another site. But the extra money is worth it. I'll use them again.
