Don't count on your pet getting adopted thru this place !:
Due to financial difficulties we had to take our dogs there, but were ASSURED by 3 employees that the rumors we heard of dogs having a 2 week life span there were totally false. In fact they thought our guys would be very adoptable as they were a nice breed and one of them was a graduate of obedience classes. My husband's buddy lost his dog to advanced age and decided he might like one of our guys. When he & my husband called (2 weeks after we had taken them) they were told the dogs were put down because they had temperament issues and were not adoptable. We raised these guys from puppies, they never bit or jumped on anyone, and my husband now thinks he took our dogs to their death. I'm sick over this ! If they were up front to being with, we would have found an alternate facility or foster home for them. This SPCA makes me sick !
