Beware of R. Bruce Duncan and the Chicago Appraisers Association. R. Bruce Duncan agreed to appraise my furniture and after accepting the deposit of $2,500 six months ago, he called last minute to cancel the appointment and we've heard nothing from him since and he won't return our phone calls. After researching, we learned that the Better Business Bureau gave him an F rating, with six complaints filed within the past three years and three within the past twelve months. The Chicago Appraisers Association is not BBB Accredited.
