Upon walking in the office at Christian Brothers I was already skeptical as their office was trimmed out nicer than my home was. And guess what, someone has to pay for that. That's right, you and I do. First of all I dropped off my car on Wed about 2pm and had to call about 6pm to be told 'Sorry we were not able to look at your car today. I said that would have been nice for someone to let me know that and she (Kim) said sorry the guy that placed your order was new. Ok I can live with that. Then I get a call the next morning with my estimate. I took it in asking to check the AC and give me an estimate on replacing the clutch. She tells me $4100.00 to replace the AC compressor and replace the clutch. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Just because I drive a Jaguar doesn't mean I can afford to throw money down the drain. This was ridiculous. I asked how much they were charging me for the Compressor and they said 1000.00 then another 1000.00 for labor. WHAT??? This is especially crazy since I found the compressor online all day long for 200.00. I understand you have to have mark up to run a business but 5 times the cost?? i dont think so. I'm a store manager for a local grocery store and if I tried to rip my customers off like that I wouldnt have any customers. I'm really not sure how your parking lot was full of cars with those prices you charge. I realize I live in a nice neighborhood but either my neighbors make a lot more money and can afford to pay your ridiculous prices or they are just to ignorant to do their research. Either way, I hate that again as usual, a mechanic shop assumes their customers are stupid and think they can charge whatever the hell they want and people will pay.. And again as usual just because I drive a Jaguar you think you can charge me double what you should be charging and I'll pay. Wake up Christian Rip off. With parts online and Certified Mechanics on craigslist that will do the work for half of your crazy cost I choose the later. Just for the record I have bought the parts and labor now for $1591.17 vs your $4100.00 estimate. Attention to my fellow Flower Mound and Lewisville neighbors. Stay clear of this place. I thought with a name like Christian Brothers on the side of your builing that you could be trusted. Now I know the bible was right by saying "No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light"
