The Davis County Symphony, with Music Director Marie Maxfield and Assistant Music Director Jeremy Johnson, will perform a Spring Concert with the premier of trombone soloist Denise Nelson playing Ferdinand David's Concertino for Trombone. The performance will be held at the Christian Life Center Auditorium, 2352 E. Hwy 193, Layton, UT 84040, on Saturday, April 13th at 7:00 pm. Denise Nelson debuts playing David's Concertino for Trombone and Orchestra. The symphony will also play Beethoven's Creatures of Prometheus, Farandole from Bizet's L'Arlesienne Suite No. 2, and Waltz from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. The Davis County Symphony, founded by Marie Maxfield in 2009, is an all volunteer organization open to each and every musician 9th grade and older and is under the direction of Music Director and Conductor, Marie Maxfield, and Assistant Music Director, Jeremy Johnson.
