I have had nothing but consistently poor experiences when boarding my 11 year old mixed breed. I have tried many different places, including vet facilities. Even if it was for only one night, he always came home with some type of problem, whether it was diarrhea, a cold, a voice that was gone from constant barking, or lethargy clearly from being drugged. As you might expect, I was extremely apprehensive trying yet another place.

CHURCHLAND K9 WAS THE FIRST GREAT EXPERIENCE WE'VE HAD. On arrival, one of the owners (Lisa) took us on a tour of the facility. There are both indoor and outdoor play areas. The kennel area reminded me of those febreze commercials - if you had your eyes closed there is no way you would guess multiple dogs were housed in the room. That's how clean it was.

Sam stayed with them for eight days while we were out of town. Since I "like" them on facebook, I was able to see photos of Sam that they happened to post. It was comforting to see him playing outside and doing well in our absence. When I picked him up, I was given a "report card" reflecting how he had adjusted day by day. (Stress level, if he was eating, barking, getting along with other dogs etc.) I was pleased to see that it only took him a short while to settle in, and immediately wondered why I'd never received such a report from any other boarding place - it is a great idea, and reflects the personal attention that was given. They also made the extra effort to give him his daily vitamin - at no additional charge.

FINALLY! I've found a good place that I look forward to taking Sam back to when we need to travel. Highly recommended.
