Description

The Massillon Recreation Center was made a reality with the passage of a 3/10 of 1% income tax levy that was passed in 1995 to assist with the expansion of the Parks and Recreation system. The Recreation Center is approximately 69,000 square feet and is situated in the heart of downtown Massillon. The cost to acquire the land and to construct the facility took $10.4 million.
