Dr. Elane Shirar ought to be ashamed:
City Park family practice reminds me a some shifty clinic set up in a 3rd world country. It is run by the greedy Dr. Shirar. The staff turn over is enormous. The staff is rude the PA and NPs that work there must have been at the bottom of their class otherwise why would they work at this clinic. Nothing is ever cordinated or communicated with the patient. If you value your health stay away from City Park family practice or anything that Dr Elane Shirar is involved with.

Do not go here:
First of all the practice is absolutely disgusting, not clean inside by any means. The people working there are extremely un-professional. I work in finance I WISH I could wear scrubs to work and they still push that. Then the service is absolutely terrible. I originally went here because I relocated and needed a doctor for insurance purposes as well as perscriptions refilled. I had been on these perscriptions for YEARS and they gave me a very had time. I had to go to the office 3 times to actually get the perscriptions. Then after the first time to the office I continued to give the doctor a try she did seem sweet at first and was due for a physical so made an appointment for that. I received "bad" test results, she called me while at work without even asking if this was a good time, and then was completely un reachable. I found another doctor and had to have the office manager fax over the test results which took more than a day for them to fax to speak to a doctor and find out what the results meant. She did eventually get back to me on friday after rudely giving me these results on monday. I have since met with another doctor who has believed I was wrongfully diagnosed. Finally I called to pick up my perscriptions. I called the office before I left they are suppose to be open until 5:30pm, I called at 5:15 where they told me they were leaving the office in 5 minutes. I work close to the office and said I would leave right away and hope to catch them. I got there at 5:32 and the doors were closed lights off. As I was walking back to my car the Dr. Tina called my name and asked me to come inside where she then rudely yelled at me saying I had made her wait 45 minutes which was not the case and THIS IS THERE JOB, PATIENTS ARE THE SOLE REASON THE PRACTICE EXISTS. She then said she was demanding I get additional tests (EKG test and some other test she did not explain). I am all about doctors being thorough, but a) That office is so dirty I truly believe you can receive a disease b) I am 23 years old not 90. I am telling you save yourself the copays DO NOT GO HERE. I have since been to Oasis Family Medicine. THEY ARE GREAT.

Good Experience:
I had a pretty bad skin infection and went to City Park Family Practice to get treated. The provider that took care of me (Thaun) was awesome. She was quick and knowledgeable. She was very nice also. I would totally recommend her to anyone.

Very professional staff:
I am new in town and this office is close to where I live. Thuan Phan is the FNP who saw me and she was very thorough and to the the point. I feel that I am in really good hands here and would recommend them to anyone.
