Clarion Inn & Suites

The 2 room suite we booked started out promising -- run down but spacious. Only 1 (yes 1) light of any kind in bedroom was the first sign. Are the lights low to hide something? We had children with us so we unfolded the sofa bed in the living room. Oh boy. Bloody sheets in the bed and dead bugs. What kind of bugs? I dont' know. Since the blood on the sheets were circles about the size of small peas, I was concerned they might be bed bugs. The management was appalled at my suggestion and said they were simply fleas. Oh -- okay ... Well then I guess its okay? The management proceeded to tell me that my suggesting that they might be bed bugs in a conversation with staff in the hall outside of my room was not an appropriate response as other guests might hear me. What is the appropriate response to opening up a sofa and finding dead bugs and bloody sheets? There was more -- an air conditioning unit located within inches of one of the beds, hair ball in the shower, but I think one gets the gist. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN
