Beware!:
Terrible experience. Make sure you get everything in writing. Their pricing is very slippery and Randy is terrible at dealing with customers...

They sold me a $1500 pump that failed after 6 years. Called them for service and was told it would be $140 to come out. I agreed. After arrival and inspection they told me my warranty was only good for 5 years and I would have to pay for a new pump. When I got my bill almost 3 weeks later, I see I was billed for 2 service calls ($280).

I stopped into their office to pay and get the service call fee adjusted. Randy rudely told me in a tone that was confrontational, condescending, and terse that it was $140/hr. When I commented that I wished that I had been told that upfront, Randy really got agitated. I have never been treated so rudely by someone that I was trying to give over $2000. When I asked for his name, so I could leave a Google review he accused me of threatening him! One of the worst customer experiences of my life.

I spent almost $4000 with these clowns over the past 6 years and they still treated me terribly. Beware!

Terrible Service!:
To their credit, they showed up promptly knowing we had been without water for a few days. They were nice and helpful over the phone. The service began to change when they actually showed up. Two guys showed up, one with a nice attitude named Greg, and the other that was not so easy to deal with. I believe his name was Chris. They attempted to pull the pump from our 40 or so foot well and were unable to retrieve it. We were told our well casing was bent enough to prevent the pump from coming out. We were given a price and told they would return the next morning. We were told we could save ourselves $500 worth of excavator time if we dug the hole. So we grabbed our shovels. We spent 4-5 hours digging a 6-foot diameter hole more than 5-foot deep by hand. The next morning they called and said their welder was down. I offered for them to use my personal craftsman 230A-240V Stick welder if they can bring a generator and welding rod. I was then told their generator was broken. I then offered to go get my FiL's generator. I was told that wasn't going to work. I was told that we had to have ACE welding do the weld and that we would have to pay them directly. I said I could do that, but I wanted to know what their charge would now be since they were no longer doing the welding. I was told it would remain the same because they quoted the job as doing the weld for free. I find that hard to believe, but that is their claim. I was also told at this point that they wanted 100% to be paid BEFORE they even start. We were first told that we would be invoiced by the office after completion, and then given 30 days to pay after the time we received the notice. We did not have all of the cost at the time but said we would have no trouble paying in full within the 30 day period, and actually before. I was told they were reneging this 30-day notion and would have to now clear it with the owner if they would proceed with any sort of partial deposit. I received a call from the owner, Greg, saying that they are not willing to complete the job and that I needed to find someone else. To his credit, Greg seemed like a reasonable guy that was backing his service manager (the previously mentioned guy named Chris with a VERY poor attitude), which I can understand to a certain extent.
Terry from GT Sweetwater came and said that he spoke to Greg and was informed that there was some sort of financial issue with us. This means, not only did Cluff back out and leave a family with kids w/o water after digging a giant hole by hand because of a terrible service manager, they had the audacity to call other companies to slander our name. I find this to be highly unacceptable and inappropriate. It also makes me question their honesty about the broken equipment. To further make me question their honesty and integrity, Terry was able to pull out the pump in 5 minutes by hand WITHOUT a rig. So their diagnosis of a well casing being too bent for removal was made out of dishonesty or incompetence. Take your pick. This also means that we dug a large hole by hand for NO REASON. If you want good, honest service, I would recommend GT Sweetwater. They were extremely helpful.
