Tips

The Extras:
Cole's provides the equipment and opportunities for local musicians and artists to showcase themselves. The back stage is equipped with two speakers, a house piano, house drum set and bass amp, so all bands have to do is show up with their guitars and rock. Artists are likewise encouraged to showcase their work on the bar's walls.

Where to Sit:
Park up at the bar, where bartenders deliver easy conversation and suggest the perfect poison (microbrew or imported beer). Expect to stay all night, or at least until you've run out of quarters for the jukebox.

With local artists' work sometimes on display, fashioned like a tavern, this bar is perfect to go have a drink and relax. The bar serves some beers on the tap like Goose Island Matilda, but serves cheaper beers by the bottle. The local...
