This place is very much in business. It's a classy place by the water's edge in which to store your boat, tell fish stories, hang out, quench your thirst & even have a bite to eat with the locals. They have a fish fry with all the shrimp, lobster & seafood you can eat. The prices are reasonable in this economy & the boat yard is very safe to keep your pride & joy of the ocean to say the least. The marina has 100 slips and a large dry dock facility with extremely reasonable pricing for boat owners. A big advantage is security on the grounds including a newly installed state of the art CCTV system. They offer short and long hauls and will assist passing boaters in need of service or help.
The club house is quaint, with a bar and a meeting room for members, guests and party rentals. The hall can be rented for the day or evening for a low fee.
The College Point Yacht Club is located at 3-04 126th Street in College Point NY 11356. If you're coming by boat, it is approximately 1/2 mile West of the Whitestone Bridge on the South side of the East River. They monitor VHF channel 18 or you can call the main number for docking assistance.
