The Comedy Showcase was founded in 1983 by comedian Danny Martinez and his wife Blanca Gutierrez. Since, the Comedy Showcase has developed many nationally recognized comedians under the talent, compassion and guidance of Danny Martinez, “The Godfather Of Texas Comedy”. The Club has earned bragging rights to the accomplishments of some of the comics who startedhere.

Since 1983, numerous nationally-recognized comedians have performed on this stage. Many have appeared on Show time, HBO, A&E and other popular channels.
