Pleasantly Surprised:
I had a few bad experiences at different computer stores so I was really nervous about going to Computer Sonics with their kind of all over the place reviews. I really needed to get some parts as soon as possible though, for my business, so I decided to give it a try. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, even though the workers were really busy and the phone was ringing. One of the salesmen came over and helped me find everything I needed, I was happy with the prices, and I really liked how quickly I was able to get in, get my parts, and leave. The store was smaller then I was expecting, but they had everything I needed and a good selection. I'm going to give them a try again before I decide on them as my main supplier of parts, but so far so good.

Decent selection but very poor customer service and higher prices:
The store had the product I was looking for, however the price was higher than a local competitor. I learned that the store does price matches with local retailers -- however this policy is not well defined and inconsistent (one store said they wouldn't even do a price match so I called the 800 number on the web site and they said they could). The store ultimately refused to match the price.
However, the primary issue with this retailer is the poor customer service. Be very careful if you go to the Lynnwood location as you may be treated disrespectfully. The employee I spoke with (twice -- once on the phone and once in person) was pretty abrasive and arrogant and did not seem comfortable or prepared to exercise common customer service skills.
Stick with the online retailers for better prices -- if you need personal service keep looking, there are probably better vendors in the Seattle area.
