A year ago I walked into Conn's in Plano and went through hell getting a big screeen TV financed. I can understand that. My credit was fair but not excellent, and I had never shopped with Conn's before.
That was a year ago. I have, in that time, paid off more than half of that $1500.00 TV set keeping ahead of my payments. I figure this might be a good time for a surround sound to go with it. I picked one out. It's about $400.00. No sweat. Guess what? The salesmen run me through the wringer again like I had never even bought anything from them... where you work? Where you live? How much you make? I need to see your phone bill. I need references. Damn... its all the same as last year's.
If you enjoy being treated like a stranger, just go to Conn's in Plano. Even when you do the right thing and pay your bills you get treated like a bum.
