Eado, otherwise known as East of Downtown, may still be a diamond in the rough but with an unpretentious wine bar now in its ranks the area is becoming a destination for more than baseball. The owners, also of nearby frat-tastic Lucky’s Pub, intended for the bar to have a relaxed, jeans-and-tshirt vibe and that mostly comes through. Created to look like a wine cellar, the main room is a cozy, welcoming space to have a cheese plate and bold California Cabernet. Price points are all over the map, although most bottles are mid-range and can be purchased at retail to take home.
