Cortland County Historical Society

Cortland County Historical Society, Inc. is located at 25 Homer Ave in Cortland and has been in the business of Historical Club since 1925.

CCHS is a non-profit museum and research center. We provide house tours at $3/per adult non-member. Research is available at $8/ first hour, $5/hour after that, and free for members. Mail research is $15/ hour.

The Suggett House Museum is located in the 1882 Italianate home of inventor and real estate developer James Suggett. In 1976, a climate-controlled wing was constructed to house the extensive archival and genealogical collections.
