It's an elegant yet cozy farmhouse restaurant that opened in 1928 as the Dutch Mill Inn and was acquired by namesake Mary McCrank in 1935. There are armchairs in the waiting parlor and fireplaces in some of the dining rooms. The chicken-and-dumplings Sunday night special is sublime; so are the dessert pies and homemade ice cream.
