Cottage Inn Pizza, right on Grand River in the heart of Brighton, has been selling specialty pizzas since 1948, originally in Ann Arbor. Also on the menu are subs, salads, wings, chicken bites, calzones and lasagna. Cottage Inn adds its own twist to these items with products such as Fiesta, Chicken Mediterranean and Greek pizzas. Gluten-free, vegetarian and low-fat items are also on the menu.

This restaurant has had the distinction of being the first restaurant in Ann Arbor to serve pizza. The current ownership acquired the building at 512 E.
