Tips

Parking:
The best bet is the free lot behind the club. Parking on Ventura is limited, and many neighborhoods are restricted. Some people take their chances in the Ralph's lot across the street.

Save Money:
Monday night's Pro Blues Jam is always free, as are Tuesdays, when both the billiards and cover are complimentary.

Editorial Reviews

Cozy’s name will tell you much about its philosophy; the Sherman Oaks blues club exudes a down-home, familylike vibe. Information from the business

Opened in '96 by blues aficionado Steve Rakoczy, Cozy's has become known as "L.A.'s Home of the Blues" largely because, on any given night, you're likely to catch a living legend, big name touring act, or one of L.A.'s top artists - up close in an intimate, comfy setting. The main showroom-bar area is well set up for great sounds and clear views of the stage from every seat. Off to one side,...

This is one of the smattering of places in the Valley to see real jazz and blues men (and women) perform their craft. The crowd knows their stuff too, by keeping this fledgling room busy enough to draw bigger names and offer some security to the jazz and blues community. Part restaurant and part pool hall, Cozy's has certainly found its niche in recent years and it's certainly a nice place to be.
