Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
To say that Dr Leyendecker is a C. U. N.ext T.uesday, would be an understatement. If I could give this b@!%h less than one star on the rating, I would. In fact, this dr deserves five stars in being the worst vet I know. Here is why Leyendecker should be avoided at ALL COSTS!!!!!! For the sake of your beloved pet, stay away from this evil c@!t!!!!

Prior to knowing the less-than-steller reputation of this disgusting sub-human, I visited the Critter Care Clinic in Laredo, Tx to chip my newly adopted dog. As soon as I went to the front desk, it is as if the ladies in the front are forced to upsell to the client in order to maximize profits. they wanted us to not only get the chip and the rabies shot, ut also get this shot and that shot all in one sitting. A bill that was supposed to be no more than $50 dollars ended up almost costing us $200. These tactics are deplorable, and obviously emanate from the ringleader of greed, Leyendecker. She does not give a damn about animals; her only priority is to make as much money as possible. Keep in mind that this is only within the first five minutes of my visit. As im waiting in the, er...waiting room, there was literally a dying dog on the floor convulsing. We spoke to the bloody daft front desk to see this dog immediately since it was an emergency, but they did not react!!! WTF!!! They repolied that the dog was going to be euthanized and that there was no point in helping him. Even the dog s owner was just as daft and inhumane as the employees at this clinic. WTF?!?

The back where the animals are seen is so disgusting. It smells like death and sickness. I always send my pets to go see the vet in san antonio, and have never experienced such deplorable conditions. Needless to say, we walked out on the dr as we were NOT going to subject our pet to this cesspool of filth.

The Dr Leyendecker was absolutely the most rude person I have ever met! She was not personable at all, and even started to lecture us on why it is important to euthanize the animals in the animal shelter when the subject came about for some reason. Who was this b@!%h to lecture us? She is deluded, cynical, rude, and I had the worst experience with a vet, ever.

After this visit, I know many people that would never set foot in this clinic . In addition, I know Dr Leyendecker is very much a trigger-happy sadistic being that kills, (because taking a being s life should not be labeled euthanasia unless absolutely necessary) she kills so many animals both at her clinic and at the animal shelter without a conscience.

This woman and her staff are plain EVIL. DO NOT SEND YOUR PET HERE. If you must find a doctor in laredo, I went to Dr Martin across from Ryan Elementary and had no problems at all.

Best Veterinary Hospital in town by fare!!!!!!:
I just moved here from San Antonio with my wife and two daughters. We have 3 dogs and two cats and 2 birds. :) My Yorkie was not feeling well and she started vomiting and not wanting to move, right away the nursing in me kicked in and i started thing all kinds of bad things and we thought she was home sick or she ate something outside or something bite here etc... We heard all kinds of bad things about how there are rattlesnakes in town to javaline in neighbor hoods i checked on line and that wasnt helpfull cause it could be all kinds of things depending on which one i clicked on, well to make a long story short we called the emergency number that they had on there phone and the nurse answer very politly her name was Kim, she said that i should bring her in and told me how much it was and it was pretty high but it was worth every penny. I took her in and the doctor (Leyendecker) and Kim started running bloodwork and taking x-rays right away my kids were crying and asking if "Brandy" was going to be ok and the Dr. told them that she was going to do everything she could to make her better, 20 minutes later they diagianosed her with pyometra ( rotten or infected Uterus) she said that they were going to put her on fluids and take her straight to surgery and EVERYTHING was good she came out of surgery and came home.... I recommend this clinic to any of my co-workers of family and friends any day they know there stuff and thank you Critter Care for taking such good care of of family.....

Worst vet experience ever!!!:
This was the worst experience I've ever had with a vet or in dealing with anyone who runs a business. I took my dog Daphne to Critter Care Veterinary Clinic in Laredo TX after she'd been sick for a few days. This was not my usual vet but I was away from home. The staff was very respectful & well mannered. The veterinarian was rude, short in her answers, & answered my questions as if she thought I should already know the answers. She repeatedly misquoted me in the office during the visit about Daphnes symptoms & I had to correct her many times. She treated only one of the symptoms Daphne was having & ignored the rest even though I kept questioning it. Daphne is now worse than before we went to this vet. I called the vet clinic to explain this & the staff took a message. When the vet called back she was very rude. She ademently denied that she could have misdiagnosed Daphne even though she was having the same sypmtoms that were intensifying by the hour. I asked that she see Daphne to examine her & tell me if there could be another cause for the sympoms. She refused to admit she had made a mistake & would not re-examine Daphne unless I paid her again, which I refued to pay for her mistake. I said I would pay for any treatment but not for the exam. So she refused to see Daphne at all & when I demanded that I be given Daphnes medical record to take to another vet she wanted to get off the phone. She then called me back less than 5 minutes later to suddenly tell me that she had a couple ideas what could be making Daphne sick, neither of which was what she had treater her for, & told me over the phone that the only treatment would be surgery & cost $400-without even a proper re-examination to base this new "diagnoses" on. I refused to pay her that after the way she'd handled the whole situation. I called the office again about picking up Daphnes record & did about an hour later. While there in the clinic, the vet called me from her office in another part of the clinic to tell me that she'd already contacted her lawyer concerning my "allegations" that she did not treat Daphne properly stating that she had done nothing wrong & my dog should be fine & that she did not want my business & hung up on me. This was exceedingly imature behavior from someone who is supposed to be a health care professional in my opinion. Once I got home & was able to read the copy of Daphnes records I saw many things written in that had not been there when she treated Daphne. The vet had written in derrogatory comments about me personally, misquoted me about Daphnes symptoms AGAIN, & graffitied all over the records. Daphne is still sick & getting worse with the SAME SYPTOMS that this vet ignored & did not treat. I'm taking her to a new vet tomorrow & hope this one will actually help her. When I tried to call the clinic back to ask about the records being in this condition, they are no longer taking my calls. So I;ve informed them that if Daphne dies as a result of this vets actions I will be filing a malpractice lawsuit against her. If you love your pet, please DO NOT GO HERE!!! I don't want anyone else to have to go through this.
