No customer service:
I hired Crown Carpets in Tigard OR to do a $3,000 carpet install on my hall and stairway. While the installer who is a inhouse employee with Crown was trying to fix a tack strip on the bathroom/bedroom threshold he cracked the porcelain tile in my bathroom trying to pry up the carpeting. He never bothered to inform me he cracked the tile. When he was leaving upon completion of the job I asked the installer did you fix the tack strip only then he told me Oh no I couldn't you have a cracked tile. The tile was never cracked before he laid hands on it. Rather than start an argument with him, I immediately called Crown Carpets up and spoke to Management. I told Mgmt. what happened and that I have extra tile so he can replace the one he cracked. He just has to come back. Never heard back from Mgmt. at Crown Carpets. So finally I called them again and said if you can't send your installer back to replace my tile I have to hire someone to do it, That's when I was told by Managment that they had no obligation to replace the tile because their installer denied cracking the porcelain tile with further remarks saying their employees never lie! I had planned before this incident to use them for future carpeting but they have lost my business over refusing to replace a $5.00 tile. Truly is a nightmare dealing with a company that is not on the up and up. From my experience if anyone does business with Crown Carpets in Tigard or Gresham they do so at their own risk. I might add the review below by Debbie Lepper giving five stars she is a family member of the owner of Crown Carpets.

I really thought this group did a great job on our new livingroom carpet, will definitley go back when we're ready for the bedrooms.
