Stephanie was right!:
I went in to visit with my sister (the bride) and a few other friends and relatives to look for a dress. The woman who was "helping" us SNAPPED at me for picking up a dress to tell my sister I thought she'd like it. She then didn't want us in the dressing room to help her and was very snotty the rest of the trip. Needless to say she will not be getting her dress there. What a terrible day.

This is the BEST place to get a wedding gown! Stephanie is so wrong. I have been in this shop when it was so busy and not so busy and ALL of the staff and the Owner treated EVERYONE wonderfully. THe prices are good and there is a dress for almost everyone, even with special orders. Stephanie must have been a real b---- to have had a bad experience here. THe Crystal Bride was chosen the BEST place to shop by all those who responeded to the poll in the paper. so go figure.

Bridal Shop Owner Worse Than Bridezilla:
In search for the "perfect" wedding dress my mom found an advertisement for Crystal Bride in Geneva. Upon arriving there, I found a decent selection of dresses. However, the service was absolutely HORRIBLE!
While trying on a dress with two of my bridesmaids and mother, the owner (we know this because she announced to us that "Yes, I am the owner!") barged into the dressing room without knocking or warning and verbally assaulted us for not having the room under control (we are still not sure what she is referring to- all dresses were neatly hung up, we were not being loud, etc). She was extremely rude and unhelpful. We, of course left immediately. I would NOT reccomend this location to any bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, or someone looking for a prom dress; I will be passing this information on to any brides I come in contact with as well as my wedding planner. By far the WORST experience I had looking for a dress.
