Professionalism is EVERYTHING when it comes to running a business. Consistency Respect and most of all OUTSTANDING Customer Service. Unfortunately Cupcake Central Virginia Beach lacks every single one of those qualities. I am appalled by the unbelievably atrocious and rude service I recently received from this bakery. I called to put in an order which the owner Joy confirmed to be ready for my son's birthday on the 24th only to receive a text at 5 a.m. from her cell on the morning of the 24th informing on their inability to get the requested Ninjago character right. Things happen,I understand. The owner Joy apologized and promised to work on the character personally and send me a picture of the finished product during memorial day weekend so my son could at LEAST take the cupcakes to his school on Tuesday. I NEVER received that promised picture or a call informing me of her inability to produce the character or fulfill my order. I called several times and left many messages which went unanswered. I finally get in contact with Joy today...a week later. I wanted to know why she lacked professionalism or common courtesy towards whom she labelled a "Loyal Customer" and all I received was a nonchalant ,"I Forgot." Really? And then when I tried to discuss how she suddenly "forgot" I received a lackluster response of, "It was memorial day weekend." My question is this, "Did you not know this before you made your promises of fulfilling my order?" To add insult to injury the rampant female proceeded to hang up on me when I declined yet another one of her empty promises of fulfilling my order. Friends and Family if the owner can handle a customer in such a manner I can only imagine what example she is setting for her staff. I personally will NEVER deal with this company again and I suggest you think twice before you do as well. -Jem
