best curtain shop:
i just got a complete shade education at curtains etc. were they going inside or outside? did i measure from wood to wood, or bracket to bracket? did i measure just the roller, or did i include the pins in a tip to tip measurement? did the shade cloth roll over the top, or over the back? i had no idea there was so much i needed to know about measuring for shades! i spoke to ellen, the manager there, and together we figured out the measurements and which shade would work best for me. we found a really nice shade they had in stock and they were ready the same day. she was very patient and extremely helpful. they offer an installation service, but i wanted to do it myself. steve (the owner) personally took me through the process step by step until i new what was what. It was more involved than i ever thought. and these were just shades. looking around the shop i couldn't even begin to imagine all that went into everything else they had to offer. i highly recommend this shop for anything window related. very helpful and friendly staff. and now i know to ask for full barrel cuts on my shades for extra darkness so i can sleep those extra couple of hours in the morning!

Will never shop here again:
Was treated very disrespectfully by the owner Mr Moses and his staff. I special ordered some fabric from them and when it came back wrong (much less fabric than I had ordered) I was told there was no way "the company could have possibly made that kind of mistake" They went on to tell me there was nothing they could do about it until they had the fabric in hand. Once I brought it in, the saleperson told me there was nothing she could do. She could not re-order the correct amount nor could she refund my money until I spoke with the owner. She became very defensive and when I left the store in tears she talked negatively about me to other customers in the store. HIGHLY unprofessional. In this economy customer service is everything to a business. These people do not know what customer service means. I still have not heard one apology for the mistake they clearly made. Horrible owner, horrible store.
