Filled an eye drop prescription for 84.99. I commented to the cashier on the price, and she asked if I still wanted it. I said I better take it and that if I didn't use it I would just bring it back. The cashier never stated I couldn't do that, just took my money. My husband called the same day (upset about the 84.99), in which they directed him to look at the receipt that states "Returns accepted thru 01/09/2010." No, I didn't buy anything else, just the prescription.Attempted to return it after I didn't use it, didn't even open the bag, still stapled shut with the receipt. CVS stated there is a federal law prohibiting the return of prescriptions.This is a very shady practice.
