The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance teaches about the past, to learn for today, in order to impact the future. A not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) since 1984, at our inception we were known as the Dallas Memorial Center for Holocaust Studies and were located in the basement of the Jewish Community Center building on Northaven Road in North Dallas. A wide variety of artifacts at this museum remind us of the tragedy which we must never forget. Among the graphic reminders on display is an actual boxcar that was used to transport victims to their death. Rotating exhibits from all over the world stop here on a regular basis.
