Country Financial left me hanging when my house burned:
Keith is great. Country Financial is not.
In June of 2016, my house burned due to a gas leak with the water heater. Country Financial denied replacing the radiant heat system stating it would be fine. I stated that it didn't seem like a good idea to leave the system in the foundation. The house is finished, now the radiant heat is leaking in the foundation and coming out of the concrete in the garage. Country Financial is stating it's wear and tear and refusing to cover it.
Oh yes, Country Financial also non-renewed my homeowners policy prior to the house even being rebuilt. l don't even know how this is legal. It shouldn't be...this forced me into a high risk policy of a vacant structure. It'll be cost me an additional $12-15,000 over 5 years. At that point, I won't be considered high risk.
So, did Country Financial deliver during this difficult time with our house....NO. By not renewing my policy, they are avoiding any further coverage of fire related issues, attempting to push it on to my new insurance company, and ultimately on to me.
Simply stated. Don't use Country Financial.
