Born in Whitestone, New York, Dr. Menchell began his medical education at New York University in the Bronx. There, he completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees. He later completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing
