We have been searching for an upholsterer to work on vintage furniture. When reading the reviews for Decorating South, Inc. we noticed that the two great reviews were written by .... wait for it .... the owner of the business. Going with word of mouth from people who have had upholstering done. This place won't get our extensive business.

They upholstered one piece of my sectional for me and did a very low quality job. They did not recreate the styling of my original piece. I paid a premium price for a Big Lots job. They refused to provide input in the fabric selection process.
When I pointed out the fact that the seams didn't line up and one seat is higher than the other, and the backs don't match, I was told I was nitpicking.
